Thank you to everyone who toured our Parade home this October.
MDI Custom Homes was proud to take part in the 45th Annual Home Builders Association of Greater Knoxville (HBAGK) Parade of Homes this October. Our entry this year was Providence Haven, a four-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath custom home of 4,496 heated square feet in the Franklin Manor community in Greenback, TN. The home was already sold before the Parade, and we are grateful to the homeowners who trusted us to build it.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by over the three Parade weekends. Our team enjoyed talking through the details with visitors and hearing what people hope to build in their own homes.
A look inside Providence Haven
Step inside and the 14-foot ceilings and grand foyer set the tone right away. The home was designed to feel open and welcoming from the first moment, with plenty of room to entertain.
The kitchen and living spaces carry that same attention to detail. A micro-cement range hood and matching micro-cement fireplace give the main living areas a clean, sculptural look, and a scullery gives the kitchen a working space out of sight when guests are over.
The primary suite includes a luxury shower with an arched opening, and zero-entry showers add comfort and easy access throughout the home. A private in-law suite gives family or guests a space of their own, which is a feature more and more homeowners ask us about.
Why the Parade matters to us
The Parade of Homes is one of the best ways to see East Tennessee new construction in person. This year's event ran October 9 through 25 across three weekends, with more than 40 homes open to the public for free, and it was co-presented by ORNL Federal Credit Union and Tindell's Building Materials. Photos only show so much. Walking through a finished home tells you a lot about the craftsmanship, the layout, and how a space lives.
